Postponed SIMS ID Integration

Capita have postponed the SIMS ID switch-over  scheduled for the 7th July 2018, having identified a registration issue in the final round of testing. Capita have been working tirelessly to bring the delivery back on track but with the issue impacting your new starters (e.g. new 2018/19 parents/employees intake) Capita want to ensure we’ve got the right solution in place to ensure a seamless switch-over for all parties.

Capita are currently working on a fix and following successful completion the next deployment date is next weekend 14th July. If this changes we will notify you on this page.

SIMS Agora and SIMS ID integration will be live from Saturday 7th July

With payments a critical function for schools and parents, the basis of Capita’s SIMS ID migration work over the last few months has been driven by the need to ensure seamless customer experience following switchover.

Having migrated over 100,000 user accounts Capita are in their final round of testing before they go live. If successful the SIMS ID switchover will occur on Saturday morning (7th July).

During this time we will need to take SIMS Agora offline meaning no one will be able to access SIMS Agora on Saturday morning. Parents still in checkout at this point will be able to finish their purchase.

If this go live date changes the MIS Team will notify you as soon as possible.
